B. A. Industries Ltd. was established in 1987, and since than specializes in designing and manufacturing parts and elements made of composite materials, for airplanes and other aviation and military systems.
The company is owned and managed by Asher Ben-Arie, who is considered one of the most respected individuals in the field of composite materials and especially the aerial industry.
During the years the company became a leading supplier for the defense sector, solving complex challenges and providing state of the art solutions. The factory is located in Canot Ind. Zone, with complete assembly lines, manufacturing tools, kits and templates. With Highly experienced 10 employees the company is able to perform molds and models from materials such as: Styrofoam, MDF, wood, polyurethane, etc. In addition, the company‘s engineering ability provides easy process to transform parts into molds.

Current situation and the opportunity
Due to a reduction in the amount of work required by a leading customer, the quantity of manufacturing projects has declined and the company was forced to start downsizing. Due to reductions in quality assurance abilities , it has also lost the quality assurance audit certification, so the scope of production and revenues is significantly smaller.
The company has moved to search for other clients, since the diversity of the factory’s customers was very narrow and focused. The factory was unable to recover from the loss of the audit certification for the aerospace industry and began to reduce production and costs to try to become more efficient.
At this point we are interested in purchasing the factory with it’s assets:
- An area of 1100 sqm is leased to the factory
- Climate monitored manufacturing room
- Manufacturing tables, manufacturing surfaces
- parts inventory
- Molds and manufacturing plans
- An operating 5 Spindle CNC Machine
- 3 CNC Machines 3 axes
The factory owner has extensive and unique knowledge in the market of manufacture parts from composite materials, and since this is the unique part of the plant that we want to preserve and to develop, it is required to document it into the organizational memory and to train the workers to keep improving it.
This process will be held together with Mr. Ben-Arie for he is known in the industry as one of the most professional in the field of complex patterns and materials, and many clients prefer to work with him rather than with any other enterprise. Shortafter the acquisition of the company, with proper marketing capabilities, his knowledge can be used to expand the company’s services to new, worldwide aerial companies.
Also, with the possibility to add a senior engineer to promote and empower the company, we will be able to develop the capabilities and qualifications for OFFSET activity and transfer of knowledge and orders to manufacture components in India according to the OFFSET requirements.
The total solution that the company has to offer is also relevant to many startups in complex materials in Israel that needs a lab for their development process and mentoring for Out Of The Box solutions for their challenges.
